Vintage CarRichard purchased the 1928 Model A when he was a teenager. It stayed in a shed until 2001 when we moved to Robinsons Bay. After the car was restored it was certified for passenger carriage and Richard attained his passenger service license. The car has featured in several wedding videos and many photos around the Inner Harbour. Relive the romance of a bygone era with a tour to French Farm Winery for lunch, stopping at Barry’s Bay Cheese Factory on the way back. See the harbour at a slower pace. Or tour into and around Akaroa in style taking in Takamatua and Robinsons Bay on the way. The trunk on the back has space for a chilly bin and refreshments and these can be arranged with Sue. The Summit Rd above Robinsons Bay is an excellent place to watch the sun go down with a glass of champagne and canapés, perhaps even some smoked salmon from Akaroa Salmon out past Wainui. |
